"LONDON BRIDGE" TODAY. Acrylic on stretched canvas. Derrain's "London Bridge" is a fascinating work of art done in 1906. I have always wondered if I could accompany Derrain into the future f the 21st century to the "London Bridge" what would his reaction be! My painting depicts a possible visual update in Derrain's style.
"The content of my work is derived from my interpretation of personal observations of places, people, and things! Linda Shackelford holds a Bachelors of Fine Arts (BFA) with emphasis in "Drawing" Bachelors of Education, (BS) Oklahoma. Linda has judged several Oklahoma fine art festivals, and shows in the past.. She has given demonstrations and lectures to the public on "Drawing You Into Art!"
